Final Rendered Perspective

A-6 Rendered Perspective (5 pts)

The rendered perspective is the last page of the construction document set. It is the final “image” of the space, drawn and rendered. This is a 3D drawing of the space, the Lavender Coffee Co., that allows the client to really feel like they are in the space and lets them really imagine what it would be like to be real. This perspective is drawn using two point perspective, with vanishing point to make it feel as if you are standing in the space. The look was achieved by using the two point perspective, along with measurements, grids, etc. Moreover, the use of shadows, light spots, and reflections created with prismacolor markers and colored pencils further add dimensionality to the drawing. Additionally, even though the perspective is fully rendered by the designers, it is not so overwhelming and “finalized”, that the client doesn’t feel like they can change anything. Because the rendering is not overly realistic and fully colored, meaning there are still white streaks, the client feels like they have a say in the design choices, if they want to change something. This is the goal for the perspective, because you never want the client to feel like they don’t have the final say.
